in the span of less than 24 hours, my phone broke, i lost not only my id but also my bus pass, credit card and bank card, and my paycheck is way small. srsly?

it’s my friend’s 20th birthday today, so I made her a vanilla sugar scrub. Sometimes being a hipster has it’s perks :P

the buggers are everywhere in this house. does anyone besides me care? seemingly not.

unless you read books to hone your critical skills, don’t read it. i feel so much more confident that I could get Thorned Rose published after reading that. Now all I have to do is finish writing the goddamn thing.

so i’m working at tim hortons right now. i know, it’s ridiculously glamourous. Only, I do sort of enjoy it because I work Coldstone ice cream and not Tims. So it’s fun, and they want to make me a Coldstone Supervisor for the summer, which is great, if I didn’t also have this other job offer.

The Harbour Hopper is one of those huge aquatic vehicles, it drives throughout Halifax and a tour guide talks to all the tourists about Halifax. I’ve been working in tourism since I was eight, so I’m naturally pretty good at it, and I love Halifax. Basically I tell people back in BC about Halifax on a daily basis. It’s more per hour and they’ll give me as many hours in six months as I could get working at Tims for an entire year.

I know, you’re probably saying ditch Tims, but I feel so obligated! I was working at a pizza place for a month, quit and came to Tims, I can’t just leave after two months cos another job comes along. But I feel like they’ll despise me if I go, so yeah I found a different job that pays better. I know you hired me for full time but could we keep it to 2 shifts a week?

I’m so shit at this job thing, cos I’ve only ever worked for my parents. WHAT DO I DOOOO? Cos my mum has this tendency to think that minwage jobs are what I should keep, regardless of how great other jobs are.
